EMS Skill Lab
Starting early 2026, The EMS Skills Lab will provide a hands-on learning environment where students develop essential emergency medical care skills. Here, learners practice core competencies such as patient assessment, airway management, IV placement, and trauma care under the supervision of experienced instructors. The lab is designed to build clinical confidence and prepare students for the unpredictable nature of real-world prehospital settings.
The EMS Skills Lab will also house a full-scale ambulance simulator. The Ambulance Simulator will expand the EMS training experience by immersing students in a realistic, full-scale ambulance environment. The simulator features a hydraulic platform that recreates city driving conditions—including potholes, bumps, and sudden stops—to help students deliver care under pressure.
Built-in cameras, audio, and instructor controls allow for live feedback and scenario review, while students perform key emergency procedures in a dynamic and authentic setting. This next-generation simulator bridges classroom learning and field application, strengthening readiness for high-pressure EMS response.
