Learning Environment and Psychological Safety
The Simulation Lab is committed to maintaining a learning environment that supports psychological safety. Learners are encouraged to participate actively, ask questions, and make mistakes as part of the learning process.
Each simulation session includes a pre-briefing to establish expectations, review objectives, and orient participants to the environment and equipment. Learners are informed whether an activity is formative or summative.
Debriefing follows simulation activities and provides an opportunity for guided reflection. Debriefing focuses on decision-making, communication, and learning objectives rather than blame or performance ranking.
