About the Simulation Lab

The Simulation Lab atĀ Temple University Barnett College of Public Health supports teaching, learning, and assessment through structured simulation-based activities. The lab provides a controlled environment where learners can apply knowledge, practice skills, and develop professional behaviors aligned with real-world practice.

The Simulation Lab serves multiple programs across the college and is designed to support a wide range of educational needs. Simulation activities are integrated into courses, skills labs, assessments, and interprofessional learning experiences. The lab does not replace clinical or field experiences. It prepares learners to engage in those experiences more effectively.

Simulation activities are developed in collaboration with faculty and aligned with course objectives. The focus is on learning outcomes, not technology. The Simulation Lab functions as a shared academic resource that supports consistency, safety, and educational quality across programs.
