Features
Sharing Your Screen or Application
Click on Share in your meeting and select the screen or application you would like to share. If you are a participant in a meeting and cannot share your screen, the host may have disabled this feature for participants. Learn more about sharing your screen.
Polling
Zoom allows you to create single choice, multiple choice, or advanced polling questions such as matching, ranked choice, short answer, and long answer options. You will be able to launch the poll during your meeting; gather responses from attendees; and, if desired, download a report of polling after the meeting. Polls can also be conducted anonymously. Using Virtual Backgrounds
Use of a virtual background is available in Zoom. Default backgrounds are provided by Zoom and Temple. Check out CPH-specific virtual backgrounds which can be found in the CPH section of TUPortal. Learn more about enabling a virtual background.
Viewing Captions in a Meeting or Webinar
To view automatic captions, click on Show Captions (CC button). Learn more about viewing captions.
Controls
Controlling Access to Zoom Meetings
Setting up waiting rooms, limiting access to Temple users only, removing users, and locking meetings are some of the methods that can be used to prevent unauthorized participants from joining your meeting. Learn more about in-meeting security controls.
Chat Controls
In-meeting chat can be limited by the host. For example, hosts can restrict chatting to hosts and co-hosts only. Learn more about controlling the chat feature.
