Bedside Care Skill Labs
The bedside care skills labs allow students a safe environment from which to learn on simulated patients
For simulation, students are immersed in real world situations in a controlled environment, allowing them to practice skills they may not see in their clinical practice. It also allows students to practice these skills before going into an actual clinical setting, so they feel more comfortable executing these skills when it comes time to do so on a livereal person.
An advantage of the new Paley simulation space will allow students to engage in inter-professional simulation with other clinical professions like Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy all in one area.
