Exam Rooms

Our exam rooms replicate a clinic or doctor’s office, where patients first encounter the healthcare system. Students use these rooms to practice everything from routine physicals and health screenings to follow-up care for chronic conditions. This reflects primary care and subacute management, focusing on prevention, monitoring, and patient education. Our monitoring stations allows faculty and simulation staff to observe the encounter. 
    
Each room provides private access for our Standardized Patients (SPs) to use, keeping encounters realistic and professional. When they are not busy giving Oscar-winning performances, the SPs can relax between encounters in our SP lounge. Also, in our lounge we have our moulage prep area, which allows us to simulate wounds, rashes, and other conditions for SPs.
