Location of Controls

  • Caregiver controls are located on the outside of each head and side rail.

Available Control Functions

Each side rail includes buttons for:

  • Brake Set – Locks or releases the bed brakes.

  • Height of Bed Motion – Raises or lowers the entire bed.

  • Head of Bed Motion – Raises or lowers the head section.

  • Knee Gatch Motion – Raises or lowers the leg section.

  • Preset Bed Positions – Provides one-touch positioning for specific patient needs.

  2. Continue holding until the bed reaches the desired position.

  3. Release the button to stop movement.

Tip: A green icon near the Head-of-Bed (HOB) symbols will illuminate when the HOB is at or above 30°, indicating an appropriate elevation for respiratory or aspiration precautions.
