Simulated Inpatient Rooms

Using simulation, students are immersed in real world situations in a controlled environment, allowing them to practice skills they may not see in their clinical practice. It also allows students to practice these skills before going into an actual clinical setting, so they feel more comfortable executing these skills when it comes time to do so on a real person.

The new Paley simulation space will enhance student learning a step further, in that it will allow students to engage in inter-professional simulation with other clinical professions where Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and our other departmentshealth care programs can interact all in one area.
