Simulation Equipment & Supplies

The Simulation Lab uses a combination of durable equipment, simulation-reusable supplies, and consumable materials to support hands-on training across disciplines. Equipment is categorized to reflect how items are used in a simulated environment, which may differ from clinical practice.

Durable Equipment includes reusable, asset-tracked items such as beds, manikins, furniture, and technology that remain in the lab and must not be discarded or removed.

Simulation-Reusable items are supplies that may be single-use in clinical care but are reused in simulation for instructional purposes only. These items are cleaned, stored, and reset by Simulation staff and should not be discarded.

Consumable supplies are single-use items that are intended to be used and disposed of during training activities.

Durable Equipment and Simulation-Reusable items must not be removed and/or discarded. When in doubt, contact Simulation staff before disposing of any equipment.
