BCPH Paley Studio Use Cases

Studio space use (set and backdrop use only)	Presenter brings their laptop to studio and uses the space as a quiet room with a plain / professional background. Presenter will use their laptop, camera/mic along with recording software on their laptop such as Panopto or Zoom. No editing or assistance from BCPHIT.	No*	Faculty/staff who share an office or have a cluttered background in need of a private space to record.
HD Camera recording only (no slides)	Presenter at desk, Camera recording only (no slides or additional input). Recording with camera, microphone, professional lighting and background. If "trimming" is needed, please allow three business days for turn-around.	Yes*	Faculty/staff seeking higher quality recording with camera, microphone, professional lighting and background.
HD video with slides	Presenter at desk, recording with PowerPoint slides (computer feed for slides will be provided by BCPHIT), cinematic camera, studio microphone, professional lighting and background. No editing needed. If trimming is needed, please allow three business days for turn-around.	Yes*	Faculty/staff seeking higher quality recording with camera, microphone, slides, professional lighting and background.

*Walk-ins: please check with BCPH IT staff upon walking in to ensure the studio is available.

*Please send an appointment request to cphithelp@temple.edu with a description of the video you would like to record and required completion date. Send PowerPoint slides and teleprompter file 1 business day in advance. BCPHIT staff will set up the slides and teleprompter on the studio computer so its ready for your appointment..
