Overview
Located on the ground floor of the building, the Paley BCPH recording studio offers faculty and staff options from basic set usage to high-end professional video production services.
Looking for a quiet space with an uncluttered background to record from your own laptop camera/mic/software? Faculty and staff are welcome to utilize the studio space to do their own recording, where no intervention from staff is needed.
Ready to re-record your outdated Canvas course videos? Make an appointment to work with our staff to use our streamlined recording process, which now records your PowerPoint slide content on its own stream, and captures you as you present on our cinematic camera on a separate stream, producing high-end audio and video quality recordings without the need for post-production editing. Additionally, these two high quality streams will be uploaded directly to Panopto for you after your session completes, where auto-captioning and full transcript will be created. Students will now be able to watch the combined stream or independent streams as they decide. This option creates Canvas course video content that you'll never get from a Zoom recording and requires no post-production editing to swap between the camera and slides!

Utilizing the professional ATEM video production system, the BCPH video studio now provides these capabilities:
- Cinematic Camera filming: Create high-quality professional content
- Professional backdrop/set design: Backdrops used in film studios and set design options are available; no more green screen or virtual backgrounds needed
- Enhanced studio lighting: Enhanced studio lighting is used to create a cinematic final product
- High-quality integrated assets: Images, videos, or PowerPoint slides can be integrated in post-production editing
- Multiple Recording Inputs: The ATEM Mini Pro switcher, shown below, allows for additional options to combine video assets.
