Borrowing Guidelines

Loan period: Up to 4 hours

Cost: No charge

Limit: One laptop per student at a time

Returns: Laptops can be returned to any kiosk on campus, including the Paley Hall kiosk. Ensure the laptop is fully inserted and wait for the return confirmation on the screen.

Late fee: $10 per hour, up to 24 hours. After 24 hours, the full replacement cost of the laptop will be charged to the borrower.
Usage Instructions

Laptops must be connected to Temple's wireless network to log in. Off-campus and guest networks will not allow login access.

All personal data and activity are automatically erased upon restart or shutdown. Save your work to cloud storage (OneDrive, Google Drive) or a USB drive.

You must accept the Borrower's Agreement during checkout.

You are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or failure to return the laptop.
Troubleshooting and Returns

If the laptop is not working:

Return it within 15 minutes and report the issue using the on-screen prompt.

If available, borrow another laptop from the kiosk.

If the kiosk is not functioning:

Visit another available kiosk location on campus to return the device.
