Updating PowerPoint Slides to Current CPH Standards

For convenience, the approved background images are also provided below. You may use these images to update the background of your existing slides while keeping your current content.

You may also copy and paste slides directly from the PowerPoint sample available in the Marketing Toolkit, but you will need to transfer all your content to these newly pasted slides.

Please update all slides in your presentation to use the current CPH layout.

Step 1: Update the First Slide

  1. Click Slide 1.

  2. Open Format Background using either method:

    • Go to:to Design → Format Background

      →
    • Or right-click the slide and select Format Background

  3. Select Picture or Texture Fill.

    → Insert
  4. Choose

    Under Picture Source, select:

    • Insert if you saved the newCPH background image to your computer, or

    • Clipboard if you copied the background image.

  5. Select one of the approved CPH Title Slide Background imageoptions (seeshown belowbelow.

    for background images).

Note: The CPH logo is separate from the title slide background image and may need to be added separately.


Step 2: Select the Remaining Slides, if using same layout

Slides

If the remainingseveral slides use the same layout:

  1. Click Slide 2.

  2. Scroll to the last slide that usesshould use the same layout.background.

  3. Hold Shift and click thatthe last slide.

All slides between Slide 2 and the selected slide will now be selected.


Step 3: Add the New CPH Background

With the slides still selected, go to:

Design → Format Background → Picture or Texture Fill → Insert

Select one of the approved CPH Standard Slide Background images provided below.

The new background will be applied to all selected slides.

If your presentation contains different slide types, such as agenda slides, section breaks, media slides, or closing slides, useselect and update those slides separately using the correspondingappropriate CPH backgroundbackground.


Step 3: Apply the New CPH Background

With the slides still selected:

  1. Go to Design → Format Background.

  2. Select Picture or Texture Fill.

  3. Under Picture Source, select:

    • Insert if you saved the image to your computer, or

    • Clipboard if you copied the image.

  4. Select the approved CPH Standard Slide Background shown below.

The new background will be applied to all selected slides.

Repeat these steps for any slides that require a different CPH layout, such as:

  • Agenda slides

  • Section break slides

  • Closing or thank-you slides


Step 4: Review and Save

Quickly review the presentation toand make sure:

  • Text is still easy to read.

  • Images and graphics are positioned correctly.

  • Each slide is using the appropriate CPH layout.

  • No existing content was accidentally moved or removed.

Save the updated presentation when finished.

Please note that the CPH logo is separate from the background image.image and contains white text, so it may not be fully visible until placed with the red background.
